Our Regulations

    These regulations are made by the Committee under our constitution.

    Membership

    • Anyone can become a member of the society by consenting in writing and applying to the Committee.
    • A member is an individual, body corporate, or meetup.com community admitted under the constitution who has not ceased to be a member.
    • The Committee may accept or decline an application for membership at its sole discretion.
    • There are no subscriptions or fees for membership.

    Committee and officer roles

    The Committee is the society’s governing body. Officers must be members of the society or representatives of bodies corporate / meetup communities that are members.

    Special officer roles:

    • President
    • Vice President
    • Secretary
    • Treasurer

    Additional portfolio positions:

    • Social Media Lead
    • Sponsorship Lead
    • Web Lead

    Creation of regulations

    • Regulations are created by the agreement of the Committee.
    • Proposals for new regulations are to be formatted as GitHub pull requests.
