🎤 Speaker Carlo Columna (LinkedIn): “The Case for Kubernetes Gateway API”

The Ingress solution is widely used in Kubernetes. However, it has known limitations and challenges. To try and solve these issues, the K8s community worked on a project considered to be the most collaborative API in Kubernetes history and after 4 years produced the Kubernetes Gateway API which offers a standardised way to manage network traffic and to address traditional Ingress flexibility and extensibility limitations. Dubbed as the next evolution or next generation of not only Kubernetes Ingress but also Load Balancing, and Service Mesh APIs, in this talk, let’s examine if Kubernetes Gateway API will live up to the hype?
