Amazon Q is a new type of generative AI–powered assistant. It is specifically for work and can be tailored to your business to have conversations, solve problems, generate content, and take actions using the data and expertise found in your company’s information repositories, code bases, and enterprise systems. Amazon Q provides quick, relevant, and actionable information and advice to help streamline tasks, speed decision-making and problem-solving, and help spark creativity and innovation at work

“Understanding Containerisation with Docker and AWS ECS”:
This presentation will introduce you to containerization and its concepts through Docker. Additionally, you will learn about AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS) and its principles for deploying containerized workloads. The goal is to build your confidence in containerization and deploying these workloads on AWS. A live demonstration will also be included, showing the deployment of a container to AWS using ECS and AWS Fargate.

Speaker’s Bio:
Hitarth is an AWS Cloud Engineer at CCL (Spark Business Group). He has over 4+ years of operating in AWS for different clients, in different spaces such as retail and health-tech. He currently holds 12 AWS certifications and is excited to help others learn and grow in the cloud with AWS. Outside of work, Hitarth likes to swim and is learning to scuba dive.
